5.0 out of 5 stars Never give up – Review on Amazon

I met Stephanie along with a few of her widows gone wild on a trip with my Dad to Alaska. Steph told me about her story and about writing a book. The joy and love I saw in her and her friends at that time was heartwarming. Stephanie summed it up best when she said we have all done our share of crying, it was time to have fun. God Bless her for that.

Her story is even more remarkable. It is a story about how God’s grace and love brings two people together when both need it the most and for a specific purpose; for Stephanie to guide Chris in his final race and for Chris to teach Stephanie what love really means. How God’s love led them through the tough times and how Chris would be able to finish his race victorious in God’s arms.

Stephanie takes you down her journey of love, hope, pain, and triumph. Thank you for sharing God’s message as well as yours, one we all can learn from.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ride On! an Inspiration – Review on Amazon

Ride On! by Stephanie Saulet

Need some inspiration in your life? Then Ride On! is the book for you. Actually, Ride ON! is the book for anyone and everyone. It is a real-life drama, a medical drama, a love story, a story of faith and redemption, a story of grit and determination, a story of grace under pressure, and a story of commitment.

The story begins with the diagnosis of cancer at the worst possible time, so we know that it might not end well. As the story unfolds, we learn more and more about Stephanie and Chris, their love for each other and their faith in God. Their willingness to stand with God and Ride On! with Him through all of their triumphs and tragedies is inspirational. Our hearts rejoice with them and break with them every step of the way.

The real potential of Ride On! is not just Stephanie and Christopher’s battle with cancer, it is learning a way to face any challenge with love, humor and the grace of God. As I read this book, I kept thinking about what a wonderful way to live life to the fullest. Here is a modern man and woman who keep their promises, stand by each other and trust in the real presence of God in their lives.

I think anyone reading this book can learn where to find the courage to face whatever may be challenging them and Ride On! Another race won; congratulations Stephanie and Chris!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Story of Hope and Unwavering Determination – Review on Amazon

This is an amazing account of how a loving and courageous individual came face-to-face with a terrible rare disease, yet looked beyond the incessant pain and suffering with a steadfast hope and unwavering determination to triumph. This is the story of Christopher Saulet and his dear wife Stephanie as they make plans to begin their life together as man and wife, and in the process receive the life altering news that Chris has contracted a rare form of cancer.

To anyone who has ever struggled with any trial in life or served in a support role for a family member or friend, this book is likely to be a source of great encouragement and inspiration. The book is written in such a manner that compels you to continue reading with a sense of wonder at the heart and soul of a man who stares right into the wall of mounting defeat, while seeing the goal of victory.

Chris’ journey helped to reinforce in my life the importance of persevering without complaining.

I’m reminded of a verse of scripture, the minister quoted this past Sunday at church (Church of Christ). He quoted Romans 8:28, which instructs us that all things work together for good, to them that love God and are called according to His purpose.

5.0 out of 5 stars Story of Love, Strength and Courage – Review on Amazon

I was fortunate to attend Stephanie’s first book signing where I purchased my copy of “Ride On! As I waited in line, I watched her personal video playing on the table. Each picture in the slideshow depicted Stephanie and Chris happy, in love and clearly showed their passion for riding bikes. “What a beautiful couple they are,” I thought to myself as I viewed wedding pictures, the honeymoon, and simply “living and loving life.” I thumbed through the book and immediately found more pictures inserted which sadly depicted Chris in the midst of his illness. Even then, he wore a smile and always had “thumbs up!” I could not wait to go home and start reading!

I highly recommend this book to readers. It is a wonderful love story, yes, but also a story of hope, perseverance and a strong faith and belief in a Higher Power. This book has made me a better person and an extremely grateful one.

5.0 out of 5 stars ”Ride On”….. Heartfelt and Inspiring – Review on Amazon

“Ride On” is the inspiring, true life story of Christopher and Stephanie Saulet. This is a book that kept me engaged and I could not put it down until its conclusion. The couple’s story unfolds with the beginning of their lives together, the heartbreaking diagnosis of Christopher’s cancer, and then the ride they embark on to fight the demon of cancer with courage, love, and faith. Stephanie’s memoir is beautifully written as she takes the reader along the road that Christopher and she traveled.

Stephanie shares with her reader the personal look into the challenges they faced in their lives. Their story uplifted me as I read about the wit, charm and playful spirit that Christopher maintained during both good and bad times. Tears flowed while reading about this couple’s struggles when faced with the many hurdles and intensive treatments Christopher required because of this very rare cancer.

Stephanie and Christopher found strength in their faith and scriptures when the disappointments and life’s road blocks overwhelmed them. They turned to God’s love and their love to continue with their ride to fight this cancer. The couple never forgot to be thankful for each day’s blessings and time with each other.

“Ride On” is an inspirational love story. It is a book that I highly recommend to read. Stephanie’s written words weave the story of their lives into an unforgettable testament that encourages the reader to face his/her own challenges with love and faith.

Steph- Just want you to know that I finished your book in 2 1/2 days which is unbelievable for me just between kid stuff and being not a huge reader. I couldn’t put it down. Even though there was definitely moments of laughter, there was more sadness. I’m so sorry you and Chris went through all of that, but just know that one day you and Chris will be reunited again in a beautiful place, and who knows they might even have a Fritz’s up there :)

Love and Hugs always.

Just finished reading “Ride On!” I truly believe you are an angel on earth. Having experience as a care giver, I’m not sure how you kept it together with all your ups and downs. I am giving you a big hug next time I see you.

Steph, I just finished the book, it was one to savor, with many beautiful morsels of insight that had to be from God alone. Carol brought me my copy a week ago and I thought I would sit down and devour it in a couple of evenings, but now that I have completed it, I want to go into it again with my bible at my side. You have shared a wealth of spiritual insight but with normal human fears. Thank you for putting all of your precious thoughts on paper and then being willing to share them with the world. God has done “exceedingly and abundantly more than you could think or imagine” Eph 3:20 in your witness to the world. Thank you
